Guangxi Provincial Museum gets down and dirty with the area’s history starting from over 40,000 years ago through a massive collection of some 50,000 relics. Included in the collection is pottery, bronze ware, literature, ceramics and clothing, much of it dating back over 200 years. Being that Guangxi’s population is 38% minority, there is some overlap between the content of the Guangxi Provincial Museum and the Guangxi Museum of Nationalities

The Hainan Museum is in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province, China. It was established in 1984, then moved to its permanent location in the Hainan Cultural Park at 68 Guoxing Avenue. There, it was officially reopened on November 15, 2008. The facility is one of three large public works projects constructed around the same time on Guoxing Avenue alongside one another. The others are Hainan Library and Hainan Centre for the Performing Arts. Since opening, it has received more than 800,000 visitors, including former leader Hu Jintao and Premier Li Keqiang. The Henan Museum or Henan Provincial Museum, located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, is a history and art museum. It has a collection of more than 130,000 pieces of cultural relics through the ages. In addition to its collection of human history the museum is also home to many relics of natural history including dinosaur bones and fossils. Henan Museum's present building, which opened in 1997, occupies an area of more than 100,000 square feet, with a total floor space of 78,000 square feet.
